1999 kia sephia code p1800 what does it mean?

A 1999 Kia Sephia had cel come on & car lost power. Won't go over 35mph. Car's been sitting & code p1800 or po1800 came up. I don't know what this is. Please help.

P1800 Engine torque signal malfunction.

The TCM connection needs to be check , what this code defines is  poor connection of the ECM to the TCM.The location of the TCM is located at the left kick panel. Inspect the connection by disconnecting the connection of the TCM ,(have the battery disconnected)
