1996 dodge intrepid stalls, will not start unless jumped. sometimes have to wait 30 to 60 mins. have power to all other ascy. (lights, blower motor, radio, ect.) stalls at 9 miles, 19 miles to 29 miles, even within 10 mins of warming up. check engine light comes on and engine stalls within mins. P0340 code

If the battery and charging system are good, the camshaft position sensor has to be replaced. 

Possible causes:

- Faulty Camshaft Position Sensor
- Camshaft Position Sensor harness is open or shorted
- Camshaft Position Sensor circuit poor electrical connection
- Faulty starter motor
- Starting system circuit
- Dead (Weak) battery
