P0753 Shift solenoid 1-2

Check the fuse first. this is a fused protected solenoid, If the fuse is open the harness could be shorted to ground or the solenoid is shorted to groundThe fuse is loced in the engine fuse box. To replace the shift solenoid you will need to remove the side transmission cover, Identify SOL A this is the shift solenoid 1-2 which is held in by a retainer clip, disconnect the harness to the Solenoid A ,remove the clip. remove the solenoid, insert the clip install the connector.
