if there is no ecm update or a bad oxygen sensor the catalytic converter is probably bad. the Emission warranty is for

"8 years or 80,000 miles" or "7 years or 70,000 miles" depending where you live

I would call Nissan or a Local dealer and ask if you are still covered under the Emission warranty
