HI there,

The purge control solenoid is mounted under the hood. When the car is running the purge opens and allows the fuel vapors from the charcoal canister to be sucked into the engine. If the purge is open all the time you will get the code. It's a very common issue on these vehicles and usually replacing the purge solenoid will resolve the issue.
