HELP.......multiple codes ??? on Cadillac Deville 2000

Question

We just bought a 2000 Cadillac Deville.....the check engine light was on so we took it in and got all kinds of codes........are all these connected or is there this much wrong with it.......and what are we looking at in fixing it.......Codes were as follows.....P0741,P0440,P1860,P0502 and P0101
Or have we been had

You should start by clearing all the codes and check what code comes first.
