P0008 Chevrolet - is there a recall for this

my 2010 Camaro has had this code P0008 on a few times, is there a recall since this seems to be a very common problem

P0008 Engine position system performance Bank 1

There was at one time what happens is the timing chain guide worn to a point where P0008 and P0009 occurred. There is only a warranty for this for 5 year or 100,000 miles. TSB  12-06-01-009D
