P1336 Buick -Crankshaft gasket replace now code is showing up...why?

Question

I had the following work done on my 2001 Buick century...Timing cover gasket, crankshaft gasket, water pump, thermostat and gasket, one hose, oil change, flush radiator. After the work was done within a few days the code showed up and it can not be cleared. What might have happened when doing the crankshaft gasket work?

if everything was installed correctly I think the crankshaft position sensor might be bad, it could just be a coincidence it went bad.
