hot oil warning come on but the entire power train is cold??

i plug a obd11 dtc reader and a p0850 active code appear. it seem to be a transmission averheating dtc. i try to reset the ecm but code still active, i disconnect battery for 15 minutes and code is active again.

P0850 Park / Neutral switch performance

If you reset the ECM and the code appears active this is considered a hard code. One of the job of the ECM is to look for open ,short and ground. You either have a open or shorted Park/ Neutral switch a replacement of the switch will be the solution
