Question

when my truck is in drive on the shift indicato. says its in reverse the same when i put it in neutral and when i put it in the first gear then it marks in neutral and so forth

HI there,

This means the range sensor on the side of the transmission is failing or the shift cable itself has a problem. Sometimes the clips on the shift cable rust off and cause this problem.
