how can I test my Nissan Coils?

I have a 99 Skyline with an RB20 Neo engine and one of my coil packs must be messed up as I get the P1320 code, but the car runs fine and once the ignition is turned off and then back on the light does not show. However after a couple days it comes back on?

Hi there,

This code usually indicates the need to replace all the ignition coils. The resistance can be checked with an ohm meter, but it's not a good test. The conditions that are causing the code have to be happening to "prove" the coil is bad. Most of the time these conditions aren't happening when the coil is being bench tested.
