I had codes P2187 and P2189 before. Did some research and said it was the MAF. I exchanged it and the check on light came back on and will not go away. Engine seems its running fine at times but its getting louder than before. Some light shaking when idle. A month ago, I was driving around 80-85mph on the freeway which the check engine light started flashing. When I made an exit, the car started to shake. Pulled over, shut off the car and it was fine.

Now I am getting codes 1347, 2182. Says hot film on MAF is reading too high and short circuit. Getting a new one since its still under warranty. Any other things I should look at? possible hose leaks?

P2187 and P2189 and having a MAF flow code, these are lean condition  and P1347 and P2182 MBZ does not use these code. but they are temperature code, If we go by the engine symptoms Having a MAF problem   going down the freeway and a engine misfire occurs pull over and its fine?  You should have a misfire code or a random misfire code, What can cause the exact problem is a plugged catalytic convertor or plugged exhaust have that check out. Another probable cause is having too much motor oil in the crankcase.

I don’t believe the original post said the code was P1347.  I believe it was posted just as 1347.  I also have those codes coming up on my scanner.  Did the original post get solved?
