P0174 Nissan - murano 2009

Question

after front end collision this code is now appearing P0174 Bank 2 running too lean.
body shop says don't think it's from accident even though there was no problem previously. thoughts?

bank 2 is located in front of the car, its possible the oxygen sensor was damaged or another part (exhaust manifold or etc). 

I would say its related to the accident and they should fix it specially if its a insurance claim.

Possible causes

- Intake air leaks

- Faulty front heated oxygen sensor

- Ignition misfiring

- Faulty fuel injectors

- Exhaust gas leaks

- Incorrect fuel pressure

- Lack of fuel

- Faulty Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor

- Incorrect Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) hose connection
