This code is for the control switch on the steering wheel for the cruise control. Sometimes it can be the spiral cable causing the issue and not the switch. If the air bag light is on, I would expect the issue to be the cable. If not, then the switch has likely failed. It can be tested, but should be done with a scan tool.
