still have code p0422. changed o2 frt. and rear. code came back.

I have code#p0422 on 2000 audi, a4, quarto, 1.8L turbo. Ihave changed pre and post o2 sensors. Cleared code after replacing, Code returned after approx. 100 miles. Now what is left to repair or exchange?

P0422 Bank 1 main catalytic convertor not effective enough

This is the catalytic convertor,the solution for this is a catalytic convertor, Before any replacement of the catalytic convertor is installed the engine should be in good running condition
