p0700 and p0335 on KIA 2004 sorento

My 2004 kia sorento when I'm driving has shut off while driving just the engine not the electronics though also the truck will " jerk" while driving when accelerating and the the check engine light will come on only when the vehicle shuts off not when it jerks back but the rpms drop every time the truck jerks back as well has anyone got any ideas my dad and I may think its the injectors or fuel pump we put the Lucas upper cylinder lubricant in with premium fuel and the problem has lessend but still jerks but hasent stalled recently

Hi there,

The code P0335 is for the crank position sensor. This will in fact cause it to turn off. Your P0700 code is a transmission code which basically means there is a code stored in the transmission computer. I would start by replacing the crank sensor. If the code in the transmission computer is related, this will resolve the problems.
