P0344 causes

Question

been running fine just started jerking with engine light on. is intermittent. could this be caused by bad battery terminal connections? have worn terminals that have been occasionally causing no start issues

Yes a bad terminal can cause this. replace the terminals

Possible causes

- Faulty Camshaft Position Sensor

- Camshaft Position Sensor harness is open or shorted

- Camshaft Position Sensor circuit poor electrical connection

- Faulty starter motor

- Starting system circuit

- Dead (Weak) battery
