P0101 Mitsubishi - Galant

Question

Can a defective EGR solenoid cause this code to turn on? New MAF Sensor was installed and still shows code. Both Catalic and EGR monitors don't turn on, what can be the cause of those monitors not turning on?

Hi there,

Each of the system monitors have their own drive cycles to get them up and running. sounds like you may not have done the correct drive cycles yet.

As for the maf sensor, this sounds like a possible broken wire to the sensor. Make sure you have power and ground to the maf and that the signal wire back to the computer isn't broken
