need to figure out how to get my check engine light to go off so i can get my car inspected .

the check engine light is on and i cant get it inspected . its a saturn vue 2005 . it happend when my tires were spinning in the snow but someone already cleared the code out so i dont know whats wrong

Disconnect the battery for 30min or so, it could reset the light if there are no engine code present.

You will have to drive the car for 15 miles or so before you can take it for inspection since the drive cycles dont be complete. 7 miles on the freeway at 60mph and 8 miles normal city driving usually does it.
