P0011 is for bank 1 passenger side Intake Valve Timing Control Solenoid Valve.

Since the Intake valve timing control solenoid valve uses oil flow to control timing, dirty oil can cause the valve to stuck open or close. Before replacing the valve, change engine oil and filter and reset engine code.

Have you change the oil recently? if not in the last 3700 miles replace the oil.

you can also remove the Intake Valve Timing Control Solenoid Valve and clean the inside with brake cleaner.

if that does not help replace the Intake Valve Timing Control Solenoid Valve factory part

OBDII Code P0011 2006 Nissan Maxima - Intake Valve Timing Control Performance Bank 1

its also possible if the timing is not correct it will set the light on.

Possible causes

- Faulty Intake Valve Timing Control Solenoid Valve
- Intake Valve Timing Control Solenoid Valve harness is open or shorted
- Intake Valve Timing Control Solenoid Valve circuit poor electrical connection
- Faulty Camshaft Position Sensor
- Camshaft Position Sensor harness is open or shorted
- Camshaft Position Sensor circuit poor electrical connection
- Faulty Crankshaft Position Sensor (POS)
