I have a p0133 code in my Hyundai Tuscon 2.0 liter 4cylinder, but the same code p0133 o2 circuit slow response code comes back up and the check engine light comes back on. What else could it be? Could the mechanic just have done it wrong?

This answer cost me a lot of money and time and I am compelled to share with whomever wants this info from my pay it forward attitude...here's your problem.

I've had the exact same problem with a different model Kia, but the same engine, the 4 cylinder...kept showing p0133 code....kept replacing front sensors...replaced engine computer also...replaced rear converter..replaced flex pipe.

This motor has only 1 catalytic converter up front, where as the 6 cyl has cats on both sides. The single cat on this 4 banger works harder, and to make a long story short, the screens in the cat were completely gone, and replacing the cat cost me 257.00 on Amazon, and 80 bucks to put it on. Problem solved. It's your CATALYTIC CONVERTER...you're welcome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
