P0715 and P0700 codes tripped for my 2001 Mercedes-Benz S500, along with P0170, P0173, P0130, P0150 these last four codes are all fuel and oxygen sensors and i dont know if it has anything to do with the big transmission codes. What happened was I left my car in my garage for winter (oil city PA) and my heated floor quit working and couldnt get it fixed so my garage was just as cold as my outside and we had a very harsh winter this year. This car was from Bermuda before I bought it so it had never seen the cold. I was thinking it could be that since it was such a change it weather that I could have got moisture into my transmission fluid but since it is a closed system and know way of checking that, do u think all I need is a transmission flush? I hope that is all of my problem but any help on this matter will be helpful, like how much I am looking at for the flush or fixing this just estimated so I can plan ahead. The car does not want to shift from second to third and locks so I can not shift it myself either. Also when I put it into drive or reverse it takes a second to kick in, kinda like the transmission is slipping, also it shifts really hard and slippy when it does shift from first to second when I actually get it going. Starts up fine and everything. I did seem to work fine but still shift a little hard when it warmed up but went right back to doing the same thing. Granit it still isn't up past 40-50 degrees outside yet. I think this car is only a warm weather vehicle. It only sat for about two months. I am thinking is I just wait and get a transmission flush and reset those codes that it should work fine. Hope you can help and thanks for your time.
