I have a VW Golf MK6 GTI.

The p2015 intake manifold runner position sensor/switch circuit range/performance error code came on. It has since come and gone twice in the last week. I then went away for 7 days and came back to find my battery was completely dead. I did a full cycle recharge on the battery and it was still dead. I went and bought a replacement battery and installed.

I am just wondering if this error code could have been caused by my end of life battery not supplying correct voltage?

Thanks

Hi there,

A dead battery won't cause this code. Here is some more info regarding this code.
