Question

my 95 Eldorado has a "traction disabled" message and I'm getting current codes of A011,T077 and I034 any suggestions on what and where to check.Thanks!!

A011 High side temperature sensor circuit

DTC 77 PCM serial data line malfunction

I034 Loss of PCM data

DTC 77 is what set the Traction disable message.This happens when the EBTCM (electronic brake and traction control module) loses communication with the PCM . This can be from a connection at the EBTCM or the EBTCM module itself. A011 This is for the A/C unit the high side temperature sensor.This can be a intermittent code condition if the outside temperature is below 30 Degrees F. I034 this is for the IPC (instrument panel) and the PCM the instrument gauges will not display coolant temperature and a low oil pressure warning may come on and stop engine may appear. If the engine does not start then this is the PCM that is at fault.I034 is the important code condition as this can become a no start condition check the PCM power ground and the vehicle ground connection especially at the battery to the frame and engine.
