P0317 - rough road hardware not present, 1995 chevrolet s10 4x4 what does this mean ?

the truck idles bad and misses sometimes, the code reader says PO317. What does this mean? it is on 1995 Chevrolet S-10 4x4 4.3 vortex V6

P0317 Rough road sensor not detected

This is for the ABS system which detects rough running road that affect the fluctuation of the crankshaft sensor. For your condition this would only be a rational code and due to being equipt with a 4X4. Correct the misfire, misfire are usually cause due to ignition system such as sparkplug wires secondary seeking ground , distributor cap and rotor.and sometimes unmeter vacuum,leaks.
