I have a 97 GMC z71. .

I have 97 z71 its has a dead spot when you get on it if u ease on it goes on it popped up two codes p0441 p0430

P0430 Catalytic system low efficiency Bank 2

P0441 EVAP system no flow during purge

These 2 code condiiton may have nothing to do with a dead spot. Unless it emission hose is disconnected at the throttle body that is affecting the performance of the MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor. At the throtttle body or the intake look for vacuum hose that are disconnected, This can also be a ignition misfire when the engine is under load, so sparkplug wire condition will also need to be closely inspected for ignition seeking ground
