PO456 code on 2006 Toyota Avalon What are the steps to fix

2006 Toyota Avalon code PO456. Small leak detected. What is the next step to locating problem after already replacing gas cap?

did you use a factory gas cap? if not I sugguest you use a factory gas unless you want to money looking for something that is not bad. I've seen people use aftermarket gas cap and it does not work well most of the time.

 

You will have to check for broken, loose or crack hoses near the EVAP canister and engine bay (see picture below)
