I have a 2003 Cheverolet Trail Blazer with a straight 6 getting P0601

In cold weather only, I get a P0601 code, reduce engine rpm light along with a check light. After warm up all is ok

Hi there,

This code is for an internal read memory function of the computer. Generally something inside the computer has stopped working. Based on the symptoms it's likely there is a bad solder joint inside the computer. The heat expands and allows it to make contact again.
