P0136 Toyota -

Question

Hi. My engine light just went on early morning today. Thew mechanic told me that it is the oxygen sensor with code PO136. Did not had enough time due to my job so just came back. Can you please tell me that is it a major issue or a minor one? And what more issue can it make on the engine if I keep on driving my car for 3 further days.
Please help me out and tell me the best possible way.

It should be fine if you drive is for a few days.

 

Possible causes:

- Faulty Rear Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 1

- Rear Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 1 harness is open or shorted

- Rear Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 1 circuit poor electrical connection

- Inappropriate fuel pressure

- Faulty fuel injectors

- Intake air leaks may be faulty

- Exhaust gas leaks
