What needs to be fixed check engine light no problems code p0700?

My 04 aveo gets the engine light when going from 2nd to drive gear with no symptoms other than the check engine light. The OBDII says p0700 I checked my transmission with no problems at all. What seems to need to be fixed? it might just be a faulty tcm.

Vehicle: 04, Chevrolet, aveo, 4 cylinder 1.6L.
