U1001 OBDII code for a 2002 Nissan Altima 3.5SE.What does it mean?

Engine light came on and the engine code reads U1001 for a 2002 Nissan Altima 3.5SE. Is this the same as the engine code U1000, which states Poor Harness ground connection.

What are the possible repairs?

U1000 and u1001 are similar it is a bad ground connection the first thing to do is lossen all the ground connecters clean them with sand paper on the connector and body and retighen the bolts back 

There will be a few by the engine bay and will look like this lossen all the ground connecters clean them with sand paper on the connector and body and retighen the bolts back 

There will also be some under the steering wheel or glove box, I dont have picture of the model or I would post the locations.

You can also add a grounding kit to help the factory grounds since the factory grounds are thin and can lose connecting since you can rust and or have corrosion.
