How the charging system ? At idle the charging system should be at 14 volts. Thats 2 volts above battery voltage. There is also a recall condition for the brake pedal switch. This recall is only for brake lamp switch being non operational, where the brake light will not illuminate, This is not the cause for the light to go dim when the brake are depresssed, The charging system needs to be checked. Recall 13V114000 tilted staop lamp switch replacement.
