P0122 Cadillac -

Question

My 2001 Cadillac Deville has a p0122 Code also and p0741 codes. When I start the car the idle speed is about 1300rpm and kicks down to 700rpm after about two to three minutes. When I start the car when it is warm It intermittingly will idle up to 2100rpm and kick down to about 1100 rpm after a couple of minutes.

have you every replaced the transmission fluid? I would start with that or take it to a transmission specialist

P0741 Cadillac - Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Performance or Stuck Off 

Possible causes

- Low transmission fluid level

- Dirty transmission fluid

- Faulty torque converter clutch solenoid valve

- Torque converter clutch solenoid valve harness or connectors

- Torque converter clutch solenoid valve circuit is open or shorted

- Transmission internal mechanical problem
