p1819 when cold below freezing, stalls when put in reverse.

Question

had tranny rebuilt in May. Now when below freezing, shuts down when shifting into reverse. problem goes away when engine warms up. Code p1819, Buick Terraza, 2006.

P1819 Internal mode switch - No start / wrong range

This code condition usually results in a no start condiiton where the PCM does not detect a PARK or Nuetral position the mode switch is located on the transmission number 811 in diagram,also do a throttle body cleaning this helps in bring the idle up.
