P0568 - on a jag x type

speed control warning on dash says cruise control cannot be activated ( not touched switch and usually hapens at about 25mph) then engine management light comes on but car runs fine, checked on computer says error p 0568 speed control system

Vehicle: jag xtype 2.5 v6 petrol
