Engine shuts down when warm, restart after several hours.
Kia Sedona gives Diagnostic code P0302. Engine shuts down when warm. Can't restart for several hours. Replaced coil, swapped coils, same problem. What gives?

P0302 Misfire number 2 cylinder

One cylinder misfire will not cause the engine to shut down and not be able to restart until several hours, When a sensor heats up it resistance changes, 2 thingt that can cause this a crank sensor or a cam sensor. To access either one , it is in the timing belt area.These should be sought out as possible cause for the engine to shut down. and it may be possible that a failing camsensor can be unable to synchronize properly causing a misfire code.
