how do you fix codes P0171, P0174 and P2179 in a 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara? We have replaced an oxygen sensor and spark plugs but the CE light is still on.

If you have replaced both oxygen sensors and that did not fix the issue, all three codes point to, too much air going into the engine and not enough fuel.

you can try to clean the mass air flow sensor with mass air flow sensor cleaner.

check to see if you have any intake leaks. Check for broken, crack or loose hoses by the engine bay.

also I would check fuel pressure if there are no intake leaks.

at idle you are suppose to be 29.9-36.9psi of fuel pressure

with the key on and key not started (35.5-44 psi of fuel pressure)

- Intake air leaks
- Faulty front heated oxygen sensor
- Ignition misfiring
- Faulty fuel injectors
- Exhaust gas leaks
- Incorrect fuel pressure
- Lack of fuel
- Faulty Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor
- Incorrect Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) hose connection
