2010 Ford Escape 2.5 showing Check Engine light and fualt code P1440

I get an intermittent P1440 fault code on my 2010 Ford Escape 2.5 FWD vehicle. I don't find any sensors loose, or see any obvious line rubs/leaks. The code erases - but comes back in about 2 weeks - and there are always 2 faul codes given, both are P1440. Any suggestions?
