can i still drive about 250 miles and is it safe?

P1870 Excessive TCC (transmission clutch convertor) slip

This is more of a transmission slipping condition, what needs to be done is have the transmision pan removed and inspect the fluid condition and check to see if brass looking material is found in the transmission pan this will be a indication of internal failure. This is not safe,for this distance
