Code reader said fuel sensor A low voltage There are two fuel sensors which one is A. It throws P0462 after I fill tank

P0462 Fuel level sensor

There are 2 sensor one is a mechanical float, the other is a variable resistor,the fuel level output voltage changes according to the mechanical float,P0462 is a excessively low voltage is sent to the ECM,When a code reads low voltage circuit "A", this represent its refernce voltage, which is most always will be 5 volts,that comes from the ECM.The problem may reside with the fuel pump level sensor which is part of the fuel pump module, that or low voltage refernce to the fuel pump level sensor unit.form the ECM
