P0171 and p0172 code are coming up for my 2011 Nissan Rogue, what are the probable causes?

Was there any work done to the car before the light came on? You may have an air leak or a PCV hose might be disconnected/cracked/broken. Other than those two main things the car has to be looked at and diagnosed. 

If the car is under warranty the dealer will fix it for free.

• Ignition misfiring
• Faulty fuel injectors
• Exhaust gas leaks
• Incorrect fuel pressure
• Lack of fuel
• Faulty Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor
• Incorrect Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) hose connection
