Is it possible to get a p0174 code, when the purge valve is stuck open??

I had a code P0496 ..then i had a P0496 with P0174.. Would replacing the purge valve fix this rich condition??

Vehicle: 2007 satura aura 3.6 liters

P0496 Evaporative flow during during non purge

P0174 Fuel trim lean bank 2

The condition for setting a lean bank code is with a purge valve that is open,so fixing this condition will correct the fuel trim management
