2008 chrysler pacifica 3.6 Codes p2181, p0344

Question

Codes p2181, p0344 coming up since we had bad egr.
Pacifica ran well and then heated up and started missing. Changed the egr,fan relay,temp sensor, then throttle body sensor lit up so we replaced throttle body sensor. Fans do not start unless we have air conditioner on or it will overheat. When we start engine ,, it runs for 30 seconds and temperature gauge goes straight to hot but it does not run long enough to peg temp. Run it. For 5 minutes sand steam starts and we can start air conditioner and then fans start but then the throttle body sensor will start flashing and then we have. No throttle

Is the thermostat opening? if not you should replace the thermostat

There may be a blockage in the coolant system, headgasket problem and other things of that nature 

There may be a wiring issue if the fan is not coming on when the car starts to heat up 

has the car been in an accident before? 

 

p0344 is for the camshaft position (cmp) sensor
