Can a code P0106 be reason for a no start?

Question

ran codes on car and this is the only code showing as active/current. Car will not run. It will turn over but dies immediately will only stay running if gas pedal is held down. Thought it was fuel pump but no change after putting a new pump in. No engine light is on or any other warning light.

You can check to see if you have an intake leak, clean your mass air flow sensor with mass air flow sensor cleaner and cleaner the throttle body with throttle body cleaner.
