P0526 Error code-2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer

Question

I got the code p0526. the fan clutch was sounding crappy so it made sense to replace it. after I replaced it the check engine light remains on. I'm not sure where to look next, maybe a sensor but I don't know where it is or if that is even what I should be looking for

P0526 Cooling fan speed sensor circuit

When this code happens the PCM has a loss of the cooling fan speed circuit, On the cooling fan clutch there is a harness which also attaches to the fan shroud, if this is not connected, you also code up P0526,
