Getting the p0756 code, i changed the solenoid and the filter cleared the code, but problem remains.

2001 Chevrolet Trailblazer 6 Cyl. P0756 code, changed the solenoid cleared it, service engine light went off, but vehicle won't shift out of second gear.

P0756 Shif solenoid B performance or stuck off./ 2-3 shift solenoid valve performance

How was the seal of the shift solenoid seal? If the solenoid went in correctly you have a internal transmission problem. P0756 are more than likely cause by plugged passage.What you are suppose to do is clear the AFL passage, There is a TSB for this troubleshooting  TSB Bulletin No. 01-07--30-036H

I couldn't find that bulletin,but I assume the valve body has to be removed to clear that passage?

Just remove both solenoid, use shop air or compressed air and blow through it,
