po193 Code how to repair?

what is this code po193 fuel rail pressure sensor high input. could it be the gas cap or is it more?

P0193 Fuel rail pressure sensor circuit high

This is more than a gas cap,what this does is gives fuel as engine load demands, by increasing voltage to the fuel pump , What this sensor was intended to do was to give the fuel pump longevity, The problem about having this code, Thefuel pump module  cannot command more fuel as the engine load demands , and the engine just stalls out. The solution is to replace the fuel rail pressure sensor,and make this a hobby.
