2000 Maxima GLE 3.0L with code P0745 Nissan

Question

My 2000 Maxima check engine light is on. The OBD2 reader says P0745 Pressure Contol Solenoid A. What does that mean? I changed the fluid and filter and it seems to run good. Is it damaging anything? what should I do?

If replacing the transmission fluid and filter resolved the issue then you shouldn't have any issues with the transmission. If the code is there even after the fact, then it's possible the solenoid itself is bad. Here is a list of possible causes.
