I got the engine code P1217 on my 2005 Infiniti G35 Sedan 3.5L

Question

Replaced thermostat 2 months ago, a week ago the radiator cracked. Replaced radiator thermostat, water pump, and got it flushed. Still over heating do I need to reset code p1217 check engine light is off

did you also put a new radaitor cap? Is your fan turning on? both speeds 1 and 2 

if the fan is not coming on low and high speed check/replace the 3 relays on the IPDM. If that does not fix the problem the fan motors may be bad.
