replaced crankshaft sensor and car won't start

Question

replaced crankshaft sensor. car is hard to start but runs with no MIL light. OBDII tester reads PO335 code pending. code appears after reset when the engine is cranked next. Why is there a pending code but no check engine light on. 2008 Nissan Sentra only fails when cranking?

P0335 CKP sensor (POS)

The reason it does this is that the CKP is not detected by the ECM during the first seconds of engine cranking,Clear the code and retest this time wait 20 seconds then crank the engine and see if the code reset itself.If it does the sensor power supply and its ground needs to be tested.furhter to determine what is at fault.what terminals that can affect the CKP are Refigerant pressure sensor,the EVAP pressure sensor,and the APP sensor.
